Can I use a Face model anywhere else other than the Faces app?

As of now...No. However, we are developing apps that can use the Face model you create.
We will also continue to implement new functionality and improve on existing capabilities for Faces as well.

Where can I get Faces?

Do I need an account on dotproductsoftware.com in order to use Faces?

No. You can still use the Faces app but you will not be able to send or receive Faces to/from your friends. You will also need the account to download new meshes. The account helps us reduce the amount of spam that hits our servers.

The app keeps asking for me to log in or create an account when the app starts. Can I stop this from happening?

You can stop the Log In or Create Screen from appearing by checking the "Do not show me this at start up" box at the bottom of the screen. However, the screen will automatically appear if you are trying to access a feature that requires account access. Such the "Face a Friend" screen or the Notifications Screen.

How do I take a screen shot of my 3D model?

Select a "Face" from your Face Library. Press the "View" button. Once the Face is displayed, press the "Menu" button on your device and a menu option will appear giving you the option to capture what is currently displayed.

How do I upload my screen capture to my Facebook account?

Open the Screen Shot Library from the main screen of the Faces App. Scroll through the Gallery display of screen shots and stop at the image that you wish to upload. Select the menu button on your device and select the "Upload to Facebook" option. If you have never logged in to Facebook from the Faces app, you will be prompted by a Facebook dialog box asking for your Facebook user name or email and password. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be asked to give the app permission to upload to your account.

I uploaded a screen capture to my Facebook account but I do not see it. Why?

Due to Facebook permissions, you will need to go to your Photos area on Facebook and allow it to be posted.

Is Faces available for the iPhone?

Faces for iPhone is currently under development and will be released at a later date.
